BIO:
Steam Powered Aeroplane. This is so much more than a band. This is a warm summer night, mosquito free, on the beach with your best friends, a bonfire, and a lot of cheap champaign. This is what it feels like to go back home after far too long away. It’s also some damn fine music.

The boys of SPA got there start years ago playing gigs for kicks at SHS back in the day and more recently at Murphy’s Bleachers in Chicago. True lovers of music, the band has been through a variety of different sounds over the years, finding their niche as of late in the tunes your hear here. Inspired by classic rock, blues, and Jim Beam, you never know what to expect from this trio of close friends. That’s just part of the reason we love them.

Full of witty retorts, cheap beer, and incredible talent, this is a band you want to be around - before, during, and after the show.
